About two years ago I found "The Peacock Dreaming Studio " I have been receiving Deep tissue massages. The atmosphere in the Studio is inviting and calming. Anne the therapist is incredibly skilled. She is able to apply just the right amount of pressure to target my knots and tight areas with precision.
After 40 years of High country farming, I suffer from a very sore left shoulder, lower back pain and foot pain. Anne has been able to reduce my foot and lower back pain considerably. She has made my shoulder comfortable enough that I can now sleep on it.

The care of our clients is extremely important to us, and we understand that you may have questions around how you and your loved ones will be cared for during a treatment?
Question 1: Will the client be expected to climb on to a massage table?
No. The Peacock Dreaming Studio caters sessions to the individual needs and capabilities of their clients. For this reason, within the nursing home environment, aromatherapy and energy healing sessions will be offered with either the client seated in their comfortable day chair or with them lying in their bed.
Depending on physical capabilities, clients residing in retirement village units will have the option of lying on the massage table.
Question 2: Will the client need to remove clothes for these sessions?
No. The Peacock Dreaming Studio caters sessions to the individual needs and capabilities of their clients. Within the nursing home or respite environment, the client will remain clothed as the treatments offered are feet, hands, lower legs, head, neck and shoulders.
Where able-bodied clients living in Retirement Village Units request to have a full-body aromatherapy massage, they will need to be dressed down to their underwear. However, they will be kept covered at all times to protect modesty and to keep them warm.
Question 3: Will the essential oils affect the Client's medications or conditions?
With over 27 years' experience as a qualified Clinical Aromatherapist, Anne McCormack understands the importance of liaising with family members and nursing staff, and further checking drug interaction trackers to ensure any polypharmacy concerns are suitably managed.
The bodies of the elderly tend to be more sensitive, so a low dilution blend will be used and always in a carrier oil.
